What is the team structure (minimum and maximum number of team members)?

Each team will be composed of 6-7 collaborators and 1 GenAI expert.

What are the categories of the competition (media generation, software development, process improvement, etc.)?

There are 16 categories in the competition : HR, Communication, Sales & Business development, Marketing , Compliance, Legal, Purchasing, R&D, Finance, Industrial, Supply Chain, Quality, Project, IS, Cyber, IP

What is the main criteria for the Hackathon winner (first stage)?

  1. Response to a problem or a need
  2. Technical Feasibility
  3. Value proposition / Innovation part

What is expected deliverable of the Hackathon (proof-of-concept, mock-up, presentation, etc.)?

Create concrete business case which can be industrialized and/or a prototype on Google Cloud Platform.

Is everyone allowed to participate (including managers, directors, etc.)?

Yes, all the Valeo employees can participate (except the externals).

When would the submission link be published and through what?

What kind of training will be conducted during the submission period?

Training will be dedicated to Leaders and Business users with some introduction to Generative AI for business and the presentation of some industry use cases.

Is it possible to participate in the hackathon with a team?

Yes, a section in the registration form allows you to choose if you will participate individually or with a team.

How can I post several ideas?

You can submit several ideas on the registration page.

Is it mandatory for the whole team to travel for the last round pitch?

It is not mandatory to be physical for the last round pitch, it can be attended remotely.
